Dubai Exiles Touch Rugby found their feet in the Aetna Super 6s Touch Rugby tournament at The Sevens on Tuesday evening. In difficult, almost sandstorm conditions, the Exiles touch rugby players had opportunities to win against their much more experienced opposition and battled it out before eventually going down 7 – 5.
After a tough opening in the Aetna Super 6s Touch Rugby tournament against the Falcons the week before. The Exiles looked like they’d made themselves very comfortable in week 2 of the competition against Dubai Warriors.
Both sides contributed to an entertaining 40 minutes of touch rugby and the result hung in the balance on a few occasions, Exiles never quite managing to pull level with Dubai Warriors despite only being one score behind on several occasions. One that got away? Probably – but it was still a lot of fun!
